The Koshare Indian Museum announced today that it has received a $20,000 Daniels Fund grant to support its facility Master Planning Process.
The Koshare Indian Museum has acted as a cultural center for the Arkansas Valley for 74 years, providing Native American performances, youth programs and a Museum of Native American and Southwestern art and artifacts that rivals any Museum of its kind.

“The Daniels Fund grant will enable our organization to begin the hard work of assessing facility improvement and expansion needs to better serve residents of our Valley and tourists who come to visit us,” said Kent Martin, President of the Board of Directors. FBT Architects of Albuquerque, New Mexico will conduct the Master Planning Process, which is expected to span a period of two to three months. Interested community members and Museum supporters are invited to attend a community-wide brainstorming session on Tuesday, May 22 at 9:30 AM.
The Daniels Fund operates the Daniels Fund Scholarship Program and the Daniels Fund Grants Program in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming. The Fund was established in 1997 by Bill Daniels, a pioneer in cable television known for his kindness and generosity to those in need.
