Big Chief "Inky" Ingersoll and his Koshare Indian braves will stomp and whoop on Macky stage this afternoon at 4 o'clock in a freee exhibition of Indian dances, according to Mark Schreiber, assistant to graduate manager of the ASUC.

Outstanding as Indian dancers, the Koshares are known throughout the country for their authentic dances, having traveled 3,200 miles in 1938. The 35 boys, most of whom are Boy Scouts, will supplement their performance in the afternoon with an exhibition at the half of the basketball game tonight and after the game if there is public demand for it.

Their costumes are very elaborate, valued at $4,000. Their extensive makeup takes from one to three hours to put on. Feature of the performance will be the Navajo Yebitche, a complicated dance with 800 different parts. Their 14 dances are a cross section of American Indian dances.

Their appearance here is sponsered by the Artist Series and the ASUC.
