Each year, the Koshares travel thousands of miles sightseeing, while they dance.  Their travels have brought them from coast to coast and everywhere in between.

From Denver, Colorado Springs or Pueblo
Take I-25 SOUTH until you get to Pueblo.  About three miles into Pueblo, take the Hwy 50 EAST exit (Exit 100A).  Follow Hwy 50 East for 60 miles until you get to La Junta. You will travel through the towns of Fowler, Manzanola, Rocky Ford, and Swink.  Once you get to La Junta, turn right at Colorado Ave (third stoplight).  Follow Colorado up to 18th street.  Take a right on 18th street, the Koshare Kiva is located on the campus of Otero Junior College (OJC).
Coming from the Kansas Area
Take Hwy 50 West.  In Lamar, CO, you will need to turn right in order to stay on Hwy 50 West.   Stay on Hwy 50 West until you get to La Junta (about 60 miles from Lamar).   In La Junta, Turn Left at Colorado Ave.  (First traffic light).  Follow Colorado up to 18th street.  Take a right on 18th street, the Koshare Kiva is located on the campus of Otero Junior College (OJC).
From the New Mexico or Trinidad areas
Take I-25 NORTH until you get to Trinidad, CO.   Take I-25 Exit 13 onto Hwy 160 (a.k.a. West Main St. in Trinindad).  Follow Hwy 160 to the Hwy 160/350 junction.   Take Hwy 350 (don't turn to continue on Hwy 160)   Hwy 350 will bring you into La Junta on West 5th.  Drive down West 5th Street in La Junta until you get to Colorado Ave.  (Second four-way stop intersection).  At Colorado Ave, turn right.   Follow Colorado up to 18th street.  Take a right on 18th street, the Koshare Kiva is located on the campus of Otero Junior College (OJC).

Coming from the Durango, Alamosa, or Monte Vista areas
Go East on Hwy 160.
In Walsenburg, CO, Hwy 160 becomes Hwy 10 around the I-25 exit.
Continue to travel on Hwy 10 (Hwy 160) for about 70 miles.
Hwy 10 will meet Hwy 50 in La Junta. Turn right at Hwy 50.
At Colorado Ave, turn right.  (second traffic light).
Follow Colorado up to 18th street.  Take a right on 18th street, the Koshare Kiva is located on the campus of Otero Junior College (OJC).
Coming from Limon, CO
Take CO-71 South until you get to Hwy 50.
Turn LEFT onto Hwy 50.
You will travel through the towns of Rocky Ford and Swink.
Once you get to La Junta, turn right at Colorado Ave (third stoplight).
Follow Colorado up to 18th street.  Take a right on 18th street, the Koshare Kiva is located on the campus of Otero Junior College (OJC).
Coming from the Amarillo, TX area
From the I-40/I-27 junction, Take the Canyon Expressway which turns into Hwy 287 just North of Amarillo.
Continue North on Hwy 287 past the Texas border, through Oklahoma, and into Colorado.
In Colorado, follow Hwy 287 until you get to Lamar, CO. Hwy 287 runs into Main Street in Lamar which then runs into Hwy 50.
Stay on Hwy 50 West until you get to La Junta (about 60 miles from Lamar).
In La Junta, Turn Left at Colorado Ave (first traffic light).
Follow Colorado up to 18th street.  Take a right on 18th street, the Koshare Kiva is located on the campus of Otero Junior College (OJC).
