Yamagata Trip Day One

 

6:22 am:  Depart Colorado Springs for LAX
In two hours, this trip has already proved to be an interesting experience. Leader Roger Roath had his name on the ticket switched to Roath Roger, which required several minutes for the airline to change. Koshare Tyler Trumble lost his cellphone and it was discovered by airport security. After browsing his contact list, they were able to get in touch with Tyler to return his phone.

8:00 am:  Koshare arrive at LAX
A four hour lay-over in Los Angeles gave enough time for the Koshares to lunch, pose for a group photo and convert their dollars to yen. It even gave Roger Roath and Roath Roger time to straighten his identity with the airline.

12:30 pm:   Koshare arrive at LAX
The Koshares boarded the massive jumbo jet and were off to Japan. Before loading, the Koshares posed for the first group photo and then joined the line to board the plane.
