It has been said, “All we are or all we can be, we owe to what came before us.” It is the link to the past that will be our bridge to the future. Thousands of photos, letters and history remain buried in the Koshare archives. Without this past we are denied some of the intellectual and moral experiences which give meaning and richness to this organization - experiences that will lead us to our future.

The history pages of this website work as an online collaboration tool to help preserve the rich history of the Koshare Indian Dancers. This website will accomplish the following:
About the Koshare Archives Project
1)  Information about the collection can be gathered and accessible to members, patrons, and other museums.

2)  Identification of photographs and slides in the archives will be faster and less damaging to the older photographs.

3)  An interactive history for alumni can be kept so they can write about themselves and contribute to other stories related to the organization.
The History pages of the website are designed so alumni, friends and family can contribute to an ongoing story – just click on the Edit/Add link and you will be able to edit or add to that specific story.
