The Koshare Foundation

The Koshare Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity, established in 2008, managed by a Board of Trustees. Our Mission is:

Sustaining the Koshare Legacy: a unique youth program, building leadership skills and cultivating integrity, through the study and preservation of the Southwestern Plains and Pueblo Native American Culture.

During the past few years, the Foundation raised enough money to fund restoration of the famed Velino Herrera murals that grace the walls of the Koshare Kiva.

It continues to fundraise to support youth programs and Museum needs.
